Track every cable from the schedule you already have

Import a cable or equipment schedule from a CSV, XLS or XLSX file, or pick it up from SharePoint or Google Drive. There is nothing to retype.

A column mapper tells Install Insights how to read it: which column is the row id, and what the rows are grouped under, for example the source panel.

You define the stages each row goes through. For a cable that might be pulled, terminated, tested and energised. Progress is a grid: one row per item, one column per stage, and a tick when a stage is done.

Items that can't go ahead yet can be put on hold. When the schedule changes, import it again. The re-import creates a new revision, and the progress already recorded carries over.

A schedule links to equipment in the model by its tag, so a whole panel's cable schedule can link to its switchboard. In the 3D viewer, right-click the board and choose Track equipment progress to work through its rows.

Schedule progress rolls up to the programme on the Schedule page. The office can see how far cabling and equipment have got without asking for a separate report.
